I noticed within the last few weeks that clicking the mtbnj logo on the top left header doesn't return me to the index page anymore, but instead it reloads the page I'm on.

Just figured i'd point it out. . .

Nothing has changed recently...though, it is an odd behavior. Let me look @ it....

Okay, click refresh and try it now.

It has always been that way with the orange/blue style, however the behavior has always taking you "home" on the "MTBNJ Classic" style.

I've tweaked the orange/blue to have the same behavior as "MTBNJ Classic".

Thanks.

one other glitch is that if you goto edit a post, instead of "post now" it says "vote now" 😛

or maybe it did once, i just tried it and it seemed to work 100% lol

Vbulletin is just like any other piece (of sh!t) software...bugless it ain't...

Talking about small glitch, what is the spot in the yellow background near the logo:

Actually I just switched browsers, they are placeholders for ads - Adblock in Firefox blocks it (and the one at the bottom of the page too).

Interesting...so you're saying you can't see the banners...the banners of our sponsors that enable mtbNJ to exist?

You know the drill by now...Doesn't matter that you didn't write the software, or you didn't create the bad data, or you didn't blah blah blah blah....The front man is always the one who screwed it up! 😀

Believe me Sparky, I know all that there is to know about being blamed for screwed up software...

I don't maintain the adblock definitions. FYI its the most popular add-on Firefox users use:

754,002 weekly downloads
48,295,857 total downloads

If you host your banners locally they won't be blocked.

It's pretty obvious that no one would sell a product that didn't work 100%, so it must be something we're doing internally. Lets schedule a 2 day conference this weekend to figure out how we can prevent this from happening again.

This is actually built into vbulletin...'looks like the only way around it is to load up an anti-block addon...

'Think I'll leave it alone...

Yes, considering they make solutions for most popular browsers, even Safari and there are other solutions and some people even do it via proxy or firewalls its not going to be easy. People aren't going to change browsers just for one website which is why IE is so popular even though its not very good.

I am sure there are probably some vbulletin add-ons or you could write something yourself if motivated to change the banner hosting. That's what we did at hcor if some functionality was lacking.
