Sloppy January

All this rain and snowmelt is gonna make for a couple of sloppy weeks on the trail. Might make my winter semester class a bit easier to stomach since biking and snowboarding will be suboptimal for awhile.

this is what is bad about winters on the east coast.....rain from here to vt & maine. at least the guns will be on tonight.

It's gonna be 4 degrees overnight. Tomorrow should be good & frozen, and a bit cold.

It's gonna be crunchy everywhere, from mtb trails to snow trails. ick. I did manage a great day yesterday at Hunter which happened to be above the rain line, sunny and 30 degrees

The problem is gonna be standing water freezing up. Huge puddles at CCC when I drove by on my way to work. If CCC has standing water so does most of the SJ spots.
