impossible climb at wildcat
You'll get it one day, buddy.
impossible climb at wildcat
So it's been a really long time since I've been at Sterling but I wanted to give this a whirl today... took a few tries to find the right gear
Nice effort, video doesn't do it a justice.
It's a struggle to climb the last 50 yards of regular trail to the top, let alone attempt that nasty line.Nope. Last time I rode by it I was like, "Yeah no, not even going to pretend to try."
It’s definitely one of those have to see it in person scenarios as much steeper than it looks in the vid. Major kudos to @UtahJoe ! I’m confident about one thing, I’ll never try going up it😂. Joe, what gear were you in?Camera person forgot which person they were filming for a few seconds there lol.

I think I found a possible answer to the hippity hoppity trials issue @UtahJoe. Jeff Lenosky , watch out!😂There is another rock spine on the loop...if you are riding the loop clockwise, you ride down it....The end is steep with a tricky roll down to the right.....I tried riding up this one, but couldnt get it. This one to me seems REALLY hard, but I think its doable. Getting up onto the spine, I needed 4th gear to get enough speed, but then I couldnt turn that over.....i'll have to try this one again sometime...I swear I saw a video of someone doing it. Wish I could do that trials hippity hoppity stuff like Jeff and Lance can.
Thanks. From the power line, going counter clockwise and down the Dragon's Tail, is a fun 1/2 mile of downhill. There is a massive and steep roller that I'm going to work on next. It's about 25’ and scary looking from the top. 😬 😈Looks good !!!
Is the "Dragon's Tail" the switchback down from the power lines (counter clockwise)? Thanks. Yes sir.Is the "Dragon's Tail" the switchback down from the power lines (counter clockwise)?
Wondering if that's the roller I've seen Jeff Lenosky jump off of?Thanks. From the top of the power line, going counter clockwise and down the Dragon's Tail, is a fun 1/2 mile of downhill. There is a massive and steep roller that I'm going to work on next. It's scary looking down from the top. 😬 😈
I don't think so. There was an old dead tree laying on top. I had to cut it in half to roll off the rock.Wondering if that's the roller I've seen Jeff Lenosky jump off of?
