Search <4 characters

Not sure why this is a thing in all forums, but when you try to search a 3 letter or 2 letter term it's not included.

For example, I want to search "58" in the for sale forum, but I can't.

use google site specific search.
for example

site:www.mtbnj.com xxx
will find bontrager seat posts, and some porn

Internet 101! Tried that before posting this, it bring up page 58 of every long thread. Plus it doesn't allow you to narrow it down to a specific forum.

It just searches the index page, not the individual threads

The thread URL doesn't reference the forum, I guess forum membership is just a property of the thread in the db so it can be parsed out to the right spot.

worked for me sort of - i got all the posts in bikes for sale with 58 in them - well 3 of them, you'd
think there would be more. will think on it.

probably a list of threads with 58 in them? rather than each post?
and the order is wonky.
