Running 27.5 wheels on a 29er frame?

Don’t know why they call it EX44/40 (maybe for external?) but since it’s a straight tube with 44 internal diameter ends the lower headset needs to be an EC44/40 (external cup) if you want to use a tapered steering tube fork. You may want to call the headset dealer if you want to be 120% sure but that is what if is. That Cane Creek combo should work, great component too.
