RSD Mayor V4

What do you guys think about the RSD Mayor V4? https://rsdbikes.com/portfolio/mayor-v4-aluminum/

Its the only fat bike I can find that seems to have adopted the modern geometry trends. It has a 68 degree head tube angle and 74 degree seat tube angle. The build is pretty nice considering the price.

I so badly wanted a Sargent people seem quite pleased with rsd bikes, I only didn't get it because super boost wheels were out of my price range but that's starting to change. The Sargent can fit 4" btw so don't turn an eye to that.

Now I want one. Because super boost+fat bike. Problem may be finding a fork that does it all.

Head tube is 67 not 68......seat tube is 74 on all sizes except XL which is 73.5....V3 was 69/72 which wasn't all that bad either

i'm really liking my Framed - what geometry differences are you focusing on?

https://www.framedbikes.com/collections/fat-bikes/products/alaskan-carbon-fat-bike-26

i'm running rigid, gx11 build, with nextie 90mm wheels.
(actually it has 29r+ on it now, cause broken rim)

Those are nice, I also like the motobecane bikes. But I want a fat bike with a head tube angle of 67 degrees or slacker and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees or steeper. Seems to me that fat bikes are stuck in the road bike geometry that trail bikes have recently stepped away from. Seems like every fatbike out there has a 69 degree head tube angle or steeper. Pole makes a nice one too: https://polebicycles.com/polestore/product/taiga/

Patrick your frame is 68.5/73
And realize that fork choice and tire size will affect the angles also

Thanks Bill -
i've been trying to get my head around fork angle, rake, and trail. more from a math/engineering standpoint.
i just about had an aneurysm looking at a dwlink on an ibis today. @Juggernaut ....

at 27lbs with mid-range build+nextie tubeless wheels, the carbon alaskan is a great deal.

i'm having huge fun!
