fun ride. darkness cut us a little short, but it was a good time. i can verify that the unlimited number of bridges trail is much more fun at the beginning of the ride. met some new people, so they'll have to forgive me if i get one or two of their names wrong. we had, myself, ellen, art, tom, joe and laura, i think.
We left right away, but I guess they took their time getting out. Almost home myself, they called me looking for a phone #. Called the park, but all had gone home. Had to call the police to call the park on the emergency number. They were let out within an hour.
Just for future ref:
Ringwood State Park closes at 8:00. That means the gates get locked by 8:20 so all Rangers and staff can go home for the day.
About 6 years back I got 75 dollar ticket for being the park after they closed.
Completely under estimated the ability of a friend who just stated riding so we didn't get back to my car until about 8:45, and had a nice present sitting on my windshield. The gate was left open though.
