Closest place to Denver to ride is Camp Mac about 10 min to the west. I've never ridden there but have heard good things (it's on the small side though)...
Also a little further to the west is Mt Gretna, which is also small but has some really fun techy trails. Trail maps for both can be pulled off of, http://www.sambabiker.com/

French Creek would be probably the best bet though, slightly larger park and marked a little bit better. Fun riding there, much like you'd find in North Jersey (Ringwood, Mooch, ect)

Up near Reading there's also Blue Marsh (about 1/2hr from where you'll be) fun riding there at a much faster less technical type park (there should be some trail reports on here from there if you search)...

Lastly if you're taking the Turnpike to get home there's also Marsh Creek in Downingtown area. Small park but afterwards you can hit up Victory Brewery which is always good fun! 🙂

French Creek isn't too overly technical. Just a little on the rocky side, enough for me to put a suspension fork on my singlespeed when I ride it there...

what did you think?

dude im pissed!! i typed out a couple paragraphs about french creek, i then lost my internet connection, and lost the write up!! ahhh!!

it was fun. did lenape trail that lead to and around scotts lake. it had sections that were fast, some switchbacks, and lots of rocks. i opened up my suspension and just blasted through the rock gardens, using bigger rocks to jump over smaller ones. awesome!

the whole place is a world apart from my neck of the woods, the jersey shore, and my trails, allaire.

there was camping throughout and i am looking forward to goin back. maybe with the family................ maybe camping with some buddies!
