Removing brake lever?

How do I remove just the brake lever portion of this brifter combo??

It's almost certainly riveted. Grab a drill (Shimano likes to use hardened metals for pivots, so good bits), and take the head off one side. Punch out the stub when you're done.

Ah yeah possibly riveted. I was hoping there was a C clip/E clip hiding out somewhere (couldn't find one though)
