Recommendation for upgrade

Hi everyone. Happy New Year. I need some recommendation on upgrading my current bike. I have a basic kit Titus racer X 2006/7. I didn't change anything beside a handlebar. Now I am thinking to do some upgrades, but not sure what should I do. Wheelset?

Thank you

A Racer-X is hardly "basic" in any configuration :) Common wisdom would be for wheels and I'd say that, if you're happy with your suspension, wheels are a good place to start looking.

WHat are you most unhappy with on the bike? For that money you could do wheels, brakes, drivetrain, fork....your options are wide open.

Not sure what your wheel situation is but I purchased set of crossmax sts two years ago in ghat price range. That was some of the best money I ever spent in the upgrade aena. Ymmv

Thanks everyone. I was trying to make the bike a bit lighter. I must be out of shape  that I feel the bike is heavy.

Wheelset will give the most bang for your buck as far as apparent lightness go. I think there is a saying about wheels "cheap, durable, light. Pick 2". You should be able to find a nice set in that price range

are your current wheels tubeless? I went tubeless for the first time this year, it's worth the price of admission.
