Been working on some new bits for this year's Rattling events.
We're back to Lykens on the August 11-12 weekend on a course described as, "The best endurance course on the East Coast" and home to one of IMBA's most recently named IMBA Epics.
We will be starting and finishing in Lykens this year with a little parade lap even. The town is definitely into this event and we're looking to continue building something cool for mountain bikers and good for the community here.
The trails update is that we're slowly moving forward. We do have some temporary trails we'll be using this year to bring riders back toward town though the full on singletrack to the edge of town is still a little ways away.
We're also putting the 50K trail run back on the menu on Sunday and it too will be starting and finishing from town.
If you get the feeling that we're trying to create a little endurance sports festival here in Lykens you might be on to something!
And you're all invited to Kevin's place after your racing with your first beer on me and food (and camping) included with your entry.
