Not sure if you folks saw this or not. It's for a great cause and the perfect way to open up your legs for Sundays race at L.M.
RACE UP SUNRISE MOUNTAIN - MAY 31st, 2008
On February 24th, 2008, Trooper Curtis Rohel #6923 lost his life suddenly in a
tragic accident. As a Trooper for 18 months and a life long resident of Culver
Lake, he touched the lives of many. As a result, a memorial scholarship has been
established in his honor which will benefit endurance athletes and/or State
Troopers with their life goal.
The race will be held to raise money for the scholarship at the Stokes State
Forest. The course will be a 4.6 miles closed road which steadily climbs to the
top of the second highest point in NJ. Following the race we will be providing
breakfast along with the opportunity to socialize with fellow riders and friends
and family of Curtis Rohel.
The first 100 registrants will receive a complimentary event t-shirt.
