Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area is located in the Morris County, New Jersey communities of Montville Township and Kinnelon Borough.
This 1,544 acre park includes unusual glacial erratics, deposited by the Wisconsin Glacier over 18,000 years ago.
Two of the most significant glacial erratics are Tripod Rock, a 180-ton boulder balanced on three smaller boulders and Bear Rock,
