preferred routes?

clockwise is the way to go - well i guess the more 'fun' way. that one climb you rode into is brutal. too bad you didn't make it to the top - the boulder fields are good fun.

It was brutal. It was difficult to hike let alone ride, steep, rocky, lots of fallen trees. The decent was fun though. I think I made it to the base of Bolderama, but I lost sight of the trail. That trail kicked my ass pretty good. I can't wait to get back there and have another go at it.

Crotch Rot
This is currently my favorite NJ ride. It gets right to it and never lets up. Besides the awesome boulder field i dig the bridge/rock gardens on your way up. They make for a fun warm up. I have only been riding for a couple years, but whatever type of riding Sourlands and Blue Mountain are , is where my interests lie (technical XC?). Soon i can hopefully upgrade to 5"-6" travel bike.
