Lost our 7 year old cocker spaniel before Christmas to hermangiosarcoma. Cancer does indeed suck!


While it was pretty shitty for the family we are ready for a fresh start so yesterday I picked up our new pup. He’s border collie and most likely lab and already acclimating nicely!

We were going to wait after putting my old girl down... We made it a day and a half before applying for adoption, had the new good boy 3 days later. Helps to cope and forget I guess.

He was already named Dasher so we are going to go with Dash.

We were going to wait after putting my old girl down... We made it a day and a half before applying for adoption, had the new good boy 3 days later. Helps to cope and forget I guess.

Yeah same here. We said we were going to wait and traveling for the holidays was a distraction. After the holidays were over and things settled down there was a void that needed to be filled for sure.

Yeah, we didnt expect it to happen so quickly. We had put the old girl down Tues/Wed, Filled out the adoption papers on Thursday night, they called references Friday, he came Saturday for a visit and never left
