Post ride meal.

salmon, carrots, quinoa, and a half gallon of beer. I have found that I can make this meal a lot healthier if I use a butter substitute😀
 
1/2 gallon of beer isn't enough carbs. You need to up the intake there. Most of my rides are in the morning so I like scrambled eggs with an assortment of veggies; zucchini, shroomies, onions, peppers, spinach, kale, whatever is in my fridge. Or, my favorite, whole wheat pancakes with a 1/4cup oatmeal mixed w/ blueberris or strawberries and bannanas (some chocolate chips are good too). Top it off w/ some plain greek yogurt and bear naked granola (the protein kind) and you have quite a delicious meal.
