We presented to Port Republic City Council in the spring to allow us to create a network of trails in three Green Acres properties. The plan was unanimously approved. We've since had a resolution put on the books and have started work.
We estimate that we could wind up with 18 miles of trail between the three properties. All three are adjacent to each other so users will be able to connect the three trail systems easily.
We've already started work on two properties and should have the smallest property done this month.
Here is the trail page for the Mill Pond Trails:

I already have trails from the Port trails that can get you to the Stockton University campus where there is over 20mi of trail now. Both are easily accessible via the new exit 44 interchange off of the Garden State Parkway.

Stay tuned for more updates this month!

Wow, didn't realize there was that much at Stockton. Only rode there once on the marked loop though. Saw the gravel parking lot is gone my last time there.
