I guess someone leaf blew lower Painted Apron. I was there the day it happened. It wasn't leaf blown when I went up it at 930 but by 1100 I heard a blower in distance. Happened just after I road it Friday.
I would think after this past weekend the leaves will be getting packed down nice

Still a lot of leaves causing trails to be a bit slick but most of the trails are packed down.

Conditions were good today! Just a few puddles. Get some before the rain early next week.

Conditions were very good today except the bottom of Painted Aprons which was a bit wet.

Speaking of...

Beginning Tuesday December 29th, we will be closing the lower section of the Painted Aprons Trail from Lenni Lenape down to Beginners Berm. We need to make repairs and resurface many areas on this section of the trail. Expectation is that the trail will be closed until early March 2021. Access will be cabled off and some spots will have obstructions placed so please avoid this trail.

I was there a few days ago. It's still closed and snow covered. It will be closed until the mud season is over and repairs are completed. Repairs prob won't happen until snow is gone and ground is thawed out. We are always looking for volunteers to help.
