Pop go the tubes

Ok, I just had 2 tubes blowout while putting the tire back on. Both times it occurred near the valve stem. Both times the pump was disconnected but I watched the tube continue to bulge just at the valve stem and the pop.

Never seen this before, any ideas before I go for #3?

Are you using presta valve tubes in schrader valve drilled rims?

Yea. Doesnt make sense how you were able to see it bulge and pop from outside the tire.

Check your rim might have a sharp edge on it. This happened to me once before I ended up filing some part of my rim.

Or something sharp inside of the tire.
