Pipeline Crossover Markings

With any luck I'm looking to ride both the Skylands trail and Ringwood Ramapo (Red) trails this coming weekend to celebrate my 40th b-day.

I know there has been some work on the pipeline recently and was wondering if the entry/exit points in the pipeline area (north end of the park) for both trails have been marked so that someone not familiar with the area would be able to track. Is this the case?

A few months ago I tried to ride the red trail from the south and upon crossing the pipeline, couldn't find the re-entry to red, then couldn't find my way back to where I exited. Awesomely enough I rode to the gun range to get back to the car.

Being the leaf cover now, the recent work up there, and my really poor navigation skills - is it possible to find where these trails start and end?

Any help is much appreciated.

Crossings have been groomed and grass planted. You may need to search some for trails, but they are not too hard to find as the piles of dirt and boulders are gone. They had been flagged, but all flags are gone now.

Thanks Ellen - I found the red trail head on the north side of the pipeline connecting to the race course. There are stacked stones at the end of one of the temporary plastic bag retaining fences that led the way!

Good to hear you found your way. They are stating to plant trees soon, like at Waway. We are working on getting an official crossing marked soon.
