looking for a full sized pickup sub $5k. High miles don't scare me, but lots of rust does. Dodge (ram or dakota), Chevrolet, Ford. Needs to be extended cab or crew cab for the occasional child seat. just looking for a reliable old truck that can do some work, get my bike to the trail, and take make the occasional (twice a year) 5+ hour drive to save miles on my wife's lease. I'll probably only put 2000 miles a year on it.
 
Decent 5k and under are extremely difficult to find. I just bought one recently and searching was took a good bit of time.
 
im just looking for something that was maintained. not a show truck. a lot of the used dealerships around here have plenty of trucks to offer, but i'd rather to talk to someone who actually knows what has been to the truck.
 
also - im not in any hurry. I figured most people in this forum were pretty nice and knowledgeable, so if someone had something they wanted to get rid of we both would be better off.
