A couple years ago I saw an ad for a Bike repair/basic maintenance class at a LBS, just now sure which one it was at. Does anyone know of any shops in the Bergen Count area the give a course on Repair/Maintenance?

Talk to your local LBS, closest to your home, you may just get some free lessons.

That is what we do. We are a "teaching" bike shop and are happy to show people the ropes. Just make sure you are learning from a certified professional that knows what they are doing.

it's a hike from bergen county but trophy bikes in philly puts together a Parks class on a regular basis... hope it helps.

Cycle Works in Byram does it, but only over the winter while traffic is light. Any good LBS will be happy to show you how to do something if you ask, though.
