Park City UT in early April

We are heading to Park City for Easter break to see some of my wife’s family and to get some spring skiing in. I assumed conditions would not be favorable for riding due to the snow.
Does anyone have intel on what it would be like during that time of year? Is fat biking possible? If not, where could I reasonably head to in order to get some riding in? We are going for 5 nights so I have time.

You can rent fat bikes. This is a really good year for snow most of the trails won't be rideable until Jun round valley might be open in April . Let me check with somebody who's lived out there while.

Deer valley usually closes around the end of the first week of April.
i am sure snowbird will still be open. They stay open very late. with the snow they are having this year, Park city could still be awesome, even that late. It’s really the best time to ski out there.

It's fun out there any time of the year.

Go take a bobsled ride at Olympic Park
I hit the bobsled when I was out there in summer of 2012, it was really cool. Also did a bunch of MTB while on that trip and it was really fun.

I’m going to touch base with one of the shops out there to ask some questions.
