In response to the recent placement of No eBike signs at trailheads and kiosks in Sterling Forest State Park, Palisades MTB is actively working with park management and state officials to advocate for Class 1 eBike access on the park’s multi-use trails.

The current eBike policy is outdated. Sustainable trail design and modern studies show that Class 1 eBikes do not cause additional damage compared to traditional bikes. Our discussions with land managers have been positive, and we’re optimistic that a policy update is on the horizon.

Thank you for keeping the support for class 1 and stepping up and bringing to land management up to speed. I love sterling and was disappointed when this topic was brought up recently.
