The studies that showed this actually had a pretty big misclassification flaw. You could be an alcoholic most of your life until you quit because you eventually got sick, and they would classify you as a non-drinker. When you compare lifelong non-drinkers to those who only drink only one or two drinks a day, the j-curve disappears and the non-drinkers love longer.

I'm like 10 pages behind still. But, I read enough to know that all the gravel riding doesn't really interest me. I was surprised it might be eclipsing Mahlon, which has some good stuff. I usually park at the Saffin Pond lot on Weldon Rd. I know my way around pretty well. Let's just say I know we won't get lost. But, if someone who really knows there way around were to lead, I'd be even more interested to see if a local can show me some stuff.

Anyway, if a plan has already come together, can someone bottom line it for me.

Who is up for Mahlon Sat. Nov. 10 ballfield lot 10am

Tim it sounds like you know the place. I was going off the map of the park. If you have a route and proper parking then i'm in. No plan was really in play yet.

IPA is an inexpensive why to make beer, thus all the craft brewery’s. . It was made to ship to India without spoiling

While true to the namesake, how expensive it is to make is highly dependent on the particular brewery. Even the least expensive would prove much more expensive than the rice bath put out by AB (and taste better too!).

That's actually very true, the dank unfiltered beers popular now is somewhat insulting to seasoned Brewers. Get a beer light in color and clear takes much skill

Must be why the beer thread is full of "canned" beer. Clarity is big in my book (even darker beers), as is head retention (something all the beer-only brew pubs struggle to achieve).

I would rather not do a gravel ride but they are willing to go early, speaking of that @BPaze is luring me away from the columbia ride willing to go early

Saffin Pond is where I always go in as well. A dude named Jimmy Jabs runs a cyclecraft/meet up ride there every other Saturday morning and I think he is riding this Sat. He goes out 8 :45/9 . He's a good guy, knows the park well, and picks the trails and pace depending on the group. Y'all might want to tag on with him. It's a no drop ride. I've had no problems hang'n on his rides, and maybe I'm wrong, but I think mtbdog, huffster, and myself, have comparable fitness/skillsets.

This works for me, too. I can get there before 9:00A
