OK Noomer

Shaggz

A strong 7
I am a firm believer in cognitive behavioral approach to life changes, as opposed to counting points for weight management. Just curious if anyone has had any experience with this program before I pull the trigger.

My sister in law has done great with noom. Over a year and has kept the weight off. Loves it and has no plans to stop. My wife did good with it as well but less so. It's somewhat intensive to keep track of every single thing you eat. Its too much for me.

This is where these apps fall down. Needing to put in everything is a chore. When you can just talk to it and tell it what you ate, it'll be a lot easier. Then it might just respond, "Stop eating so much, you fat shit."

That might work. Or not.

I used it for about a month and absolutely hated it. As an Athlete doing 6 hour days in the saddle it would suggest 1,500 calories and not compensate in any way. MyFitnessPal imports rides and workouts from Garmin/Strava and adjusts your daily calories and Macros. IMO it ends up being an easier plan to follow.

It may work due to an indirect correlation, you would end up spending so much money to replace your iPhone every time you smash it on the floor after being addressed in such a manner that there would be very little money left to stuff your mouth. Result may vary based on the each individual's wealth...there's something never heard of before!
