With the harder work behind me, and Winter on it's way, I'm going on vacation. Since no one wants to lead the Wed.afternoon rides, the Nov.9, & Nov.16 rides are canceled. After I come back, the following Wed. will be the Thanksgiving ride. This ride is 3 hours long, and about 21 miles. So bring your A came, and your lights, and a good sense of hummer. We go to the ridge four times. After this, it"s time to get ready for the 5th. Wharton 40. Will do some warm up rides in Dec., then do the 40 in Jan.

It's not that "no one wants to lead the Wed. afternoon rides," it's that no one can lead these rides but you. I'd lead the ride if people were willing to follow me as I get hopelessly lost immediately after entering the woods. I don't think I could even get to the Corkscrew to lead the "2 Hours of Corkscrew" ride!

I think Sue is up to something. She has been hanging with Spike a lot. Maybe a joint ride?
