Sent this to a friend that's in the market because the price seems right but the more I look I have questions...It appears to be a 2019. The XS and S frames would have been 27.5 but a large would have been spec'd as a 29? But it also seems to be overforked at 150. Since this was a custom build, was the intention to overfork and compensate for the smaller wheels? Are all components also new/unused?

It is a stock spec bike built with everything new. Norco made 27.5- and 29"-wheel options for the Optic frameset, it is a new bike. All of the components were just upgraded to higher spec than stock. Nothing is overforked. Bike was professionally built by my local shop
