No parking

Kings Grant has told some of our riders, that they can not park by the gate. I will try to get to the bottom of this, but I may not get far because of the New Years Weekend. Kings Grant does own the land before the gate, so they can post no parking. If this keeps up, I'm going to Batsto.

Lovely, surprised they would hassle anyone over that, they better say the same thing to people who park there to use the dog park. You know the first set of tennis courts you pass on the left before you hit the trailhead? There is a legal parking lot there, 300 yards from the trailhead. Or park at Kings Grant Shoppes and ride in from there, there are trails from the shops almost all the way to the trailhead, so there's very little road riding. I live in KG and would be willing to show you the way.

On Fri. I talked to K.G.O.S.A., & Evesham Twp. 1st.---Kings Grant said the only people that can use the land by the gate, are Kings Grant residents. That means we can not park at the gate, the school, the shopping center, the tennis courts, and so on. I'm going over to visit and get a map from the Assoc. on Wed. They own 63 acres around that area. 2nd.---Eve. Twp. has yet to give us a place to park. Two roads across from each other on Kettle Run Rd., by Bradockmill Rd. can be used. I only get 3 or 4 cars on my ride, so we will park on the road to the right, under the green acres board.---Jim

Thanks M-Con, but there's way more to this story. Bottom line, non residents can not be on Kings Grant property.

Yeah I was aware of that, and I do pay a yearly fee to the KGOSA for upkeep of the grounds. But I'm actually surprised they're enforcing it. I mean I don't feel it's an out of control situation. I can understand preventing something like fishing on the lakes, but I have been riding, hiking & fishing here for 15+ years, and I've yet to be asked if I was a resident.
