what a day for a road ride, temps were comfortable even tho I was one layer overdressed. Got out for 42 miles and had time to enjoy more scenery.

I pass by this bridge on a regular basis and never stop so I finally decided to take in the view. then the sound of the rushing river made me have to pee more so good i was close to home. :p

Ever been in the summer? Just wondering if you could suggest some fire roads (gravel bike friendly) around the lake or surrounding area.
I haven't looked too hard. I did the two "gravel"rides at the bottom of this page: http://www.thehubadk.com/index
Great rides, but mostly road. The gravel parts were great.

According to this website there's a few gravel roads around. Haven't tried any yet. I don't know if there's more that just have been summited by users:

I called this morning's ride "Gato before Trabajo"

finally back outside for a road ride today it was much colder and windier than I thought it was going to be, but once I am outside I am not going back.

had to keep moving to not get cold but decided these two spots were worth it. I should have stopped for one more when I saw the lady walking her two miniature ponies coming up Frog hollow but i was in a good pedaling groove and didnt feel like stopping at that point.

Next time alpaca extra layer in case I get cold :p
