Rode the Cold Rolled event at Pine Hill VT yesterday. Great turnout. Trails were a mix of packed snow and frozen dirt with a dusting of overnight snow. Well over 100 riders at the overlook enjoying some beers and snacks

Hit the roads at Wayway after my first day back at work since the surgery. Felt good enough to try a bit of Pumphouse even. An interesting experience on skinny tires and drop bars for the first time ! Sketchy good fun !

Me and a buddy saw the weather forecast last week was supposed to be good today so we planned a metric road ride. The snow around here last night almost ruined it but we waited until about 9AM and the roads dried out and then once the sun came out it was a glorious 64 mile day. Bike will need a deep clean due to the road grime and salt but totally worth it for winter endurance pace/distance ride.

I did the Iron Mt down and Wawayanda road up loop today.
Saw six deer, I haven't seen any in weeks. I rode up on the last
one of the six and it froze just ten feet away. Cute.

Me and my son were in the Northern Kingdom of Dingdom over the weekend. The snow was plentiful, the trails well groomed, locals hospitable and local food/drink where greatly enjoyed.

I don't know if this is a novelty but I haven't seen many of them. A heated restroom in a town park. Greenveiw park in Pequannock has them.

Thanks ! I only rode a small section, from where Pumphouse hits the lot by the enterence gate, to where it drops down to the rock bridge. It's pretty flowy really, not to bad. Climbing was suprising good, considering the 40 tooth front ring. Descending....a bit of a wild ride..lol. The impressive part to me is that the frame rides great for being only a few years younger than me, and I'm pushing 50 !
