Can anyone point me towards a good place to cross the river on a road bike?

I live in 08053 and would like to get more than 50' of elevation out of a ride.

Preferably without riding through Camden. :p

Obviously there are only so many options. Ben Franklin is your best bet, but that violates your Camden rule. Taking the Betsy Ross or Talcony-Palmarya take you pretty far up river via bike.

Maybe Haddon Ave to MLK Blvd and then up the water front to the bridge? Please note that this si a total guess and I have only ridden once on the jersey side.

Yah i don't mind making it a longer ride... just wanted to rock some elevation

I'll probably be heading towards new hope and frenchtown anyway so going upriver isn't a problem.

are the bridges legal for bikers? i haven't seen a foot path on the ben frank

Looks like it. I limited hours though. Worst case you hop ion the train to get across.

Thats gonna be one long as ride to Frenchtown / New Hope. You may be better served to cross over, ride through Philly and hit the hills along the river and Northwest towards valley forge. There is some really good stuff out there and some of the hills on the western side of the river are tough and unexpected.

Check the link below for some ideas.
