The Batsto Visitor Center parking lot is closed from dusk to dawn. Please do not park in this lot at night.
Because of our volunteer work at Wharton Forest, JORBA is allowed to schedule after hour rides from the Batsto lot. We have to arrange for this privilege months in advance and we are allowed this privilege only on specific dates and hours. After hours parking in the Batsto lot on a date other then a JORBA listed ride date will likely entitle you to a meet/greet with one the State Park Police.
If you would like to take a night ride thru Wharton Forest and are unfamiliar with the current rules, regulations and conditions, please call the WSF's Batsto office (609-561-0024, hours: 9:00-4:00) or Atsion office (609-268-0444, hours 9:00-4:00 closed in winter) for information.
