Wissahickon,Piladelphia is good, as well as Clayton. I'm planning a night ride
Tuesday evening at Core Creek. Neshaminy is also a viable option.
I know this is mtbNJ, but riding is riding, whenever, wherever!
 
didnt I read something about Hartshorne - 8 am - New Years Day?

I'll likely be there whether theres a group ride or not.

I like the idea of trashing trails in other states :) How is core creek, btw?
 
Core Creek is fun, but small......good for 2-3 laps. There is a cool section in the park with a series of jumps, maybe 6 in rapid succession, and able to be hit with good speed.
It's a neat park. Worth a trip....it's only 15 minutes from Lawrenceville.

Oh it's really fun at night and on singlespeeds. some people have killed themselves there.

Count me IN for anything on New Years Day... I begin to lose my mind when I'm not sittin' on it in a saddle. I can only clean my chain so many times waiting for suitable weather and conditions.
 
my chain needs cleaning...

doing a new years day ride... dont know wehre yet... it may start in the wee drunkin hours of the morning....
 
Anyone riding tomorrow, Friday? I think the snow is going to start around 9am. Weather.com says the temp will feel like 19degrees. I dont know how long my feet will last but I'll give it a shot.

Sat (1/3/09) Nooner - LM or Deer park?

Hello all,

I am dying to get out and Sat looks like it will be the best day of the weekend. I'm an intermediate level, old guy, mountian biker. I do not think I'll blow anyone away or slow anyone down too bad.

Anyone riding LM or Deep Park Sat around noon?

I do not think any fresh snow from Friday will hurt the riding at these parks. So I'd like to venture my first winter MTB ride in NJ but I'd prefer someone to ride with.

Are you riding on Sat?
