New to MTBNJ

Hi,

I am new to MTBNJ (again). I ride, I disappear, I ride, I disappear. I really just want to participate in goofiness cause I am not biking much these days. Maybe you can get me out on some fun rides 🙂 I need laughs, and I really want to bug some of my favorite people on here.

I like animals, the beach, and cereal. I guess I am the same person I was 10 years ago, but I bike less now.

So, who are you?

Hi.

Why no ride-ey?

I like to see Todd ride. Sometimes see Todd fall.

I've been through the ringer with moving and life changes. I was really sick last year and just when I was ready to go back to work this spring, I found out I had cancer. Just had surgery, so I am recovering from that, but I will need some treatment in a few weeks. I want to be around happy, positive things and I need to laugh lots please!

Todd has lots of videos of falling. 🙂 He might even have some of clearing logs. Somehow he can do the giant ones that are "unrideable", but the twigs really stump him.

Sorry to hear, wishing you all the best!

Showed my son Todds video... he said we'll teach him at the next TM!

Hi I'm Flash,
I spend more time here than on a bike, cause well I'm a sloth
Have an awkward build so most bikes don't fit well (longish arms)

harden up man

I think you and I are living parallel lives.. I recently moved (and had a baby), and last summer I had a stroke (actually 2). After what felt like 1,000,000,000 tests it turned out that I have a calcified heart valve that will need to be replaced at some point. I had to give up playing hockey (can't take a hit to my chest because of the valve), so I got back in to biking to keep me active. No surgeries for the heart yet, my last surgery was the previous summer for a fractured testicle.. yes it's possible to do that, long story but a hockey puck was involved lol..

So get out there and ride when ever you can, it's worth it just for the laughs and shit talk haha.
