In general. They can't make enough complete bikes so the frame only is way low on the priority list.

Very happy with my new to me 2018 so just following this since I saw Salsa Timberjack and now I own one.

Being a rookie, the new model doesnt change anything for me since this is my first legit MTB. Reading all the articles I have a lot to learn about the bike and the different ways to set it up.

I rode it around yesterday. It's definitely more mtb bro than the previous version. Longer wheelbase, slacker HT. The cable routing is cleaner, if you're into cables, and the TT bag mount is dope.
