what if someone ran an eccentric BB and an eccentric hub :hmmm:
that would be like infinite adjustability

how much is this thing? I was considering eccentric hub for my vert dropout road but this could be a good option too

If I had to guess, which is exactly what this is. I'd say that the the centerline of where the crankshaft goes is actually offset slightly so that while moving around gives you some play in the distance to the cog, it's almost surely less than standard EBB can give you, but still enough to maintain tension
