Managed by the Division's Bureau of Land Management for fish and wildlife habitat, a variety of wildlife-associated recreation is available on most areas. While hunting and fishing are probably the two activities most associated with the Division, WMAs are also prime locations for birding, wildlife viewing and photography, cross country skiing, hiking and mountain biking.

I haven't found any information that led me to believe that biking wasn't permitted and in all my times there, I have never seen any posted no biking signs. If someone knows otherwise then please do share.

I think it may be a case-by-case basis. there is a wma in sparta and the entrance sign reads "no biking"

i've never actually seen them either...just what i've been told over the years. well, all good then. i love that place but as far as it being maintained, well, that's a whole different story.
