New here, just saying HI!

Say the word, I guide at Rausch Creek all the time.

Definitely nothing wrong with a Grand, getting ready to put a small lift on ours and some new meatier tires!

I haven't been to Rausch Creek in years! That place is awesome. Just need to get some heavy duty skid plates before I go there with the XK 😱

I'll be putting a 2" RC kit on my friends WK (Grand Cherokee) soon and a set of 265/70/17 General Grabber AT2s. It's going to look pretty good... but I feel bad for her if she wants to wheel with us because it's black... lol i'll NEVER wheel another black vehicle, especially at Wharton where you can't avoid all of the branches

Rausch is fun but I miss Paragon!

Let me know if you need parts, I work for a Jeep dealer.😀

I used to know a guide at Paragon! Hahahaha

Parts? YES. Oh my god yes... you might want to take back that offer

What dealer do you work at? I actually need some T-Case fluid... going to turn 30k on my odometer so i'm due; and I know the QDII t-case fluid isn't going to be cheap.

You'll have to hook me up with the XK heavy duty skid plates this summer before we go to Rausch 😉

I work part time for Lucas Jeep in Lumberton, I do all their aftermarket parts jobs. We just built a new 2 door Wrangler on 35's, just did a Ram 1500 on 35's and a Silverado on 33's.

If anyone needs aftermarket stuff just let me know, I can get just about anything.

Oh we're going to get along greeeeaaaat! 😀

One of the guys at work was talking about a Jeep dealership that he heard about that does gear changes and a lot of aftermarket stuff... and they come highly recommended. Sounds like your place?

That be us!

Awesome!

Well, depending on how the funds look this spring i'll be shooting you a PM. My next requirement for the XK is the 3 heavy duty OEM skid plate package and the 4xGuard belly pan and front skid. I want to protect that undercarriage better for the rocky places.

Nothing wrong with a grand! What year and 4x4 system do you have?

Sounds like we need a mtbnj wheeling trip!

It's just a Trail Rated 2005 Grand Laredo. I used to do a lot of 4 wheeling back in my younger days. This hasn't gone out yet. Would love to.

If its trail rated than that probably means you have quadra-trac II..... you have 4-low right?

And check your center console... if it says Quadra-Drive then you have lockers in both axles. If you used to do a lot of offroading I think you might be surprised how well that Jeep you have performs..

It has a 4-Low manual. I've never used it. It's a small chrome lever next to the shifter that I flip up.

Yeah then you at least have QTII... next time you get in see if there's a "Quadra Drive" emblem mounted just below that chrome lever.

Either way... you up for joining our wheeling gtg? 😀

I'm up for anything.... I just have to squeeze it in between fishing, riding the Harley and MTB'ing....

I'm late to this shindig... welcome to the board... great group of guys/gals... I'm sure you'll get a lot of really good info and advice... see you out there :getsome:
