New Catskills Trails?

I found new (to me) trails marked on TF, Overlook Trail near Woodstock and dotted line trails near Balsam Lake (Dry Brook Ridge Trail). Are these new multi-purpose trails? I’ve been burned by TF around Beacon, so thinking these are hiking trails and are now open to MTB but may not be all the good? did I miss an announcement somewhere?

typically dotted ( dashed ) in TF is hiking only.
TF also identifies the local advocacy group, probably Fats in Cats, so if you ride there often consider joining them and I'm sure they can answer these questions too.

This knowledge is many years old, but...

The Overlook Trail from Woodstock is actually a gravel road up to the fire tower. It's a hell of a climb. If you start on the paved road from town, it's around 2,400 vertical feet to the top. Return descent is dangerously fast. From the fire tower it turns into more of a typical rocky wide Catskill trail (legal? don't know). I seem to recall it being fairly tough in parts, but that was in the 26er HT days. Do it for the cardio workout and adventure, not for world class mountain biking.
