There's even a rock garden for people who don't want to ride the bridge:

That's awesome work guys. Thanks for everything you do. That bridge got put in the perfect spot. I can't wait to ride it.

nice! i think some of that chicken wire stuff should be put on the first section of that bridge coming out of the berm...i will donate it to save spence.

Good work guys!

I took a quick spin tonight after work and I'm really diggin' the pumps and berm leading up to the bridge 🙂

I was there this afternoon on my cross bike. I let out quite the chuckle as I was pumping through that section. Much fun! Nice work guys!

I have 3 or 4 rolls of the mesh used as gutter screening. This would be a good use for it

Thanks J and everyone that helped build the bridge. Hit it today! Cool!!!

did some work in this area this morning, i am surprised how well the slight up and downs in the bridge help you keep your speed. this section is my current favorite.

When I laid this out I was actually going to make it higher but I thought about people falling off of it and getting hurt. I knew that the Trex decking was going to be slick too.

The end result is really fast and flowy. Better than I hoped for really. I can't believe how fast you can hit it now.

This whole section is a blast.

.

Def need to get some of that wire stuff for the first few feet of the bridge out of the berm. I was wondering the best way to secure the ends, I guess just with staples, the large ones that you hammer in...That stuff is sharp on the edge you cut so something over the enitre edge wouldn't be a bad idea.

Rode this for the first time last week. I'd forgotten it was there, so it was mighty cool to come into the section and be kind of surprised by the bridge.

Super fun.

Besides having the best wood😛 I can get a roll (2ftx8ft)of wire lath that you put down before laying ceramic tile (I'm not sure if this is the material your all talking about). It is big enough to cut with snips and wrap around to the underside of the trex pieces so there aren't any shap edges. Then it can be stapled into place. I can even get a heavy duty stapler. Let me know.

We finished the new bridge and the re-route this AM.

Check it and report back.

The trail is rough cut so it is soft and still in pre-berm condition.

We rerouted the trail with a softer angle climb that has some potential to add some nice flow.

We ran into a hunter who was very unhappy to see us. Seems that he took the day off of work to hunt and that we ruined his day. He stated that we had enough trails and that we should stop building new trails. I let him know that the state welcomes our efforts and that they have in fact asked us to add more.

We had permission to be out there but he wasn't having it. This conflict is unfortunate but impossible to avoid. I guess we won't see a x-mas card from him. I was actually pretty bummed for him as I am sure he grew up around here at a time when you could hunt in a lot more spots.
