Was very fun for my first mtb race. Cat 2 30-39 got 10th. Maybe in over my head a bit but im sure ill be getting a road bike soon....those guys r animals

Didn't want to start a new thread to ask the question, but does Rumble in the Jungle require the purchase of the USAC license? Just wondering since I remember a discussion, something about the Allamuchy race not having it.

Since jungle is a state championship race you can either reg for one day license or buy a license from usac dot com.

I believe you can race without a usac license however you will not be eligible for the state championship race. You will be eligible for the H2H race podium at Jungle and your points will count towards the series.
This has been the rule in the past but I would have someone confirm this.

I'm definitely not looking for any championships in Cat3, just some good fun. If anything I'll register for the race and get the license on site if required. Thanks!
