Figured I'd start a new thread rather than posting in the Daniel's thread.

Moreau Lake State Park is between Saratoga and Lake George - I've heard people say it's "Daniels on steroids". A lot of technical climbing - raw trails with spines and rolls to play on. Some areas reminded me of Blue in NY and Fugawe. Would be good for an e-Bike but you need to be able to handle the steep downs/loamy descents.

I poached a few rides on here (thanks @JimN) and also asked a friend for some input, which I got some ideas from a local Strava guy. Small world, but actually met up with him in the lot and he gave us a tour.

This is a good introduction loop - while it's only a few miles, it took us a while with breaks, sessioning and pre-ride/re-ride. I enjoyed it - was definitely challenging.
 
I have a friend that lives near there but spend most of the time on his boat, rarely get to ride. One day I’ll ride there and Daniel’s.
