Monkey Knife Fight 2026. 70 miler or GTFO

i havent ridden this road but always curious how they match up to things i rode as the avg gradient doesnt tell the whole story. Found this:

29% is legit but i assume that is very short. With modern gravel gearing it should be “easy” 😀

Anything above 20% is just survival IME. There is no rhythm to it, just grind it out.

The CT one was no joke too

You're right, the worst bit of it is somewhat short. But the problem is you're grinding up and feeling near death, and then you go around a small bend and you see this little section that punches it up another 10%. That's what got me lol

Definitely not, the problem with that climb is that it just goes on and on and on. Not quite as steep as goat hill but it's relentless.

I feel like It needs Palatine... But I'm interested in doing this one
I have another version but for it to pass RUSA rules it has to meet some requirements on where the Controls are and distance between them and such. It took about a dozen versions to pass…

All that zwift has you guys losing your minds already.

At first I was wondering why you skipped the gravel section near solberg and island rd. I assumed it was to keep it at 69 miles.
