tell us about yourself. welcome to the site.

hey you beat me to it! damn! i was about to say hello to y'all.

I'm a NJ Native, North Caldwell. Same town as the Sopranos. no joke. Anyway, moved out to Santa Barbara for surf, sun, and dry hardpacked trails and got a lot of it. My wife and I just had a baby girl and we're ready to move back. I don't think I would want my daughter going to school around here....slacker life!

I'm considering areas around Closter and Bergen Counties as a place to move back to.

I'm psyched to get back into the rocky muddy rooty trails.... i remember South Mountain as THE place to ride, but now I know it's shut down. PFFFF! I'm going to change that....I want to make that place LEGAL again.

Anway thanks for the invite, let's ride sometime!

Welcome.

Forget the CA research for anrothar. Direct your efforts to opening South Mountain and Watchung as well.

When are you moving back?

Today's weather may make you think twice about a move. Four degrees here this morning. tomorrow will be colder... brrrr.

But welcome anyway.

I used to live across the street from South Mountain, and would occasionally check the place out. It definitely is in need of some TLC.

really? is it even frequented by hikers/horses anymore? or is it more like a trash issue? overgrowth?

the need for TLC is good news actually. i'm looking forward to a challenge.

There are hikers, I have never seen horses there. Watch out for the tulip springs parking lot, there are plenty of guys that hang out there.

The trails are fine for hiking, but you can tell that there has not been any mtb tm done is a while. trees down, etc.

good spot brad.

i like to think of the drooling one as either someone on way to many painkillers or ones general appearance on the last few laps of a 24 hr solo effort.
