Just another reason why quality of life is not good in Essex County. There simply is not enough open space to accommodate the public in the county, the same for Union County.
Unfortunately you have to leave these counties to get away from the herd that would normally be at the Short Hills Mall. The alternative is night hike or 6am hiking, when most are not thinking about the outdoors.

Put in about 13 miles at Wayway today. Had to get away from the lake asap to practice "Social Distancing" as there are still quite a few folks in woods.Didnt stop to take pics I was enjoying the flow, but loving the chainsaw totems on Hemlock ! Maybe I'll stop next time.
