Looking good after the storm...

Rode MD today, mostly north of Weldon and in the WMA.

A muddy spot here and there, but over all fabulous conditions.

Cascade has leaves down (looks like fall!) and a brand new tree down to cross. It is about 10 ft from the other log crossing overlooking the high school.

The dirt up there must've been really dry as I was expecting more mush...nope, the dirt sucked the rain all up!

The WMA had it's usual puddles, but also was in pretty good shape.

What time did ya ride, we were in at 6:30am and out about 9ish. I saw 2 cars pull in as we had just finished up .
We rode the Cascade side first and then crossed over to The Wall.

It was like fall and a bit tricky with the leaves down.

It had been super dry for months up there.

Over all it was fun with a few roaring rapids to cross.

I rode later today; Belgian Grand Prix this AM :)

We didn't hit the park until 12:30-ish.

Certainly at the higher elevations it had a fall-like feel. If it was cooler it would've felt like fall, period.

Gorgeous day...perfect.

It was pretty cool this morning, no humidity ,a very nice breeze and NO BUGS.
They seem to be gone with the fall and cool weather approaching.

Where was my invite? Sheesh... I'm still dying to get to know MD.

I ride with 4-6 guys every Sunday , we've just pushed our start time to 6:30am because it's just to dark to start at 6am.

I don't think I'm riding next weekend, I'm meeting friends in the city on Saturday night and plan on coming home as the sun comes up. At least that's the plan .:)

We'll get ya in, we ride an easy to moderate pace , 1 of the guys is a beginner per say. We stop often and let everyone catch their breath etc..

I wouldn't mind joining up and getting to know the place more. I'll have to check in more regularly to see when you're riding.
