Looking for SS Frame: Large, 135QR, 44mm or tapered HT

I Get Jokes
My buddy busted his frame and we're looking for a replacement. Figured there are probably some El Mariachi's, Rigs, Niners, etc out there that have been replaced with newer tech but not actively on the market.

Most of the desired specs in the title.

James Brower has this listed on FB Marketplace. Not sure if it's still available. ECC BB not adjustable dropouts

Complete bike. Though this is a medium, think the top tube is on the long-ish side. Know the seller and he's not far from the Sizzler location.

@JDurk appreciate the recon! He's not on the forum (yet) but have him checking out the links. Already sent Brower a message. I told him to post on FB and i'd share with the race community too.

@Patrick dont tell me you've had a carbon superfly SS hiding somewhere....or, please do! If its a smaller size id be interested in building it up for one of my kids, or even Serena (M).

If I could figure out where the size is....It matches up to the paragon - so 17.5 ?
SLX cranks - the niner fork in the background was going on (it is from @jShort)
carbon post, carbon bars, SLX brakes, cheap cog. @jdog's crew set up the chain line.
@Steve Vai set up the BB?

I enjoyed riding this for 1 Summer, it was great. I busted myself doing something (snowboarding? CX? whatev)
and never went back to it. Esp after switching to fat biking!
Think I picked this up from @extremedave ??
Prob could find the old thread in here somewhere.

Carbon wheels are on the paragon, with dt350. I have end caps for TA or QR.

you should consider buying both bikes - you know, for the kids.
The Paragon has hope brakes, gx dub crank, X9 w 11 sp (I think) Archer electronic shifting)

Only difference is the dropout has provisions for a derailleur, right? Still adjustable and can tension chain for SS
Correct.

The SS specific El Mar is also missing the cable tabs on the right seat stay that hold the rear derailleur cable.

The orange frame does have the tabs, so if your friend were to convert to gears there's no need to randomly ziptie the cable.

This would be the frame, not perfect by any mean, chainstays have several paint chips that I touched up with rust converter and orange paint but they're noticeable. Frame is solid though. Not sure I can let i go yet...

I should have the QR alternator dropout, currently is TA12.

@Patrick
It was @Blair who owned it prior and I'm 78.6% sure it's a large. That said, it's a large from like 2010-ish era so much shorter TT compared to current.

If they ever do SSAP again I'm going to come pick it back up. 😉

They’re kinda doing it. At least there’s a 40 mile SS Race at Stewart.

AXS doesn’t need cable tabs though…
