Looking for place to ride around branchville

Hello, I have a camper I keep in harmony ridge campground in branchville. I love to ride road and mountain bike. I ride in alliare, and hartshorn most of the time as I'm from bayville. I do go up to camper every other weekend and don't know where to ride, I rode stokes last time and it didn't seem like a great place to ride. Can anyone offer better places in that area. I will be up this Friday and want to ride. Thanks for any help, Thanks Jim

something to keep in mind is also the paulinskill/sussex morris rail trails. Paulinskill is extremely scenic and not like most rail trails.

Sunrise Mountain through Stokes up to High Point is a great road ride.

I did this loop a while back: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/196645101. I'd cut out the last part on 565 and 206 if I did it again.

Stokes is a great MTB and Road riding place for sure. it is best to have a tour guide if mtbn though. But the mtb trails are pretty damn awesome there. Road riding any where near stokes in or out of the park is the best you going to find anywhere in NJ...

Wow, thanks for that loop. I ride road bikes as well. Are there any groups rides up in any of these areas? I'm not a pro by any means, and would love to ride some trails, or road.
