Over the past year a few threads have touched on lever angle and wrist/hand/arm comfort. I stumbled across a Margura article on this exact subject. Of particular interest were these two images.
I do not, and have not measured my bikes, but rather set lever angle based on feel. The result is my wrists in-line to my arms. Coincidentally, this also positions my levers below a line drawn from top-of-stem to top-of-front-tire, keeping the levers out of the grind zone.
